The Son of the Most High God

I once again had the opportunity to share God’s Word with the saints at Faith Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Scranton.  I continued where I left off in the Gospel of Mark, when I was preaching through that book at Reformation Community Fellowship.  The text for this message was Mark 5:1-20.  This passage tells the story of Jesus casting a Legion of demons out of a man in the region of Geresenes.  In this passage, Jesus demonstrates that He is, in fact, the Son of the Most High God.  We also consider why people respond differently to Jesus’ miracles.

We would all do well to “try something old” and consider the question posed to Jesus by Legion, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God?”
